By the beginning of a new day, Lilamon was the only digimon out of all four to stay awake. After all, she had to treat the wounded stingmon, and look out for the others as well. The tears on her cheeks dried out, as she managed to get a grip on herself. After all, it was not that bad. The bug-man was strong, his injuries were healing quickly, he was going to be alright. The girl ... well, she was just scared and tired. She ought to be fine too...
The poor imp creature stayed awake for as long as he could, waiting for the girl to wake up. It was rather cute to see how he just sat there near the sleeping hu-mon, not detracting his eyes from her. And she did not want to break the tenderness of the scene. But eventually, tiredness caught up with the small purple creature too, and he, not noticing it himself, fell asleep...
So lilamon was, technically, alone now, as she waited for the others to wake up. Impmon, should he wake up, would find himself curled up in a ball, lying on her hands, as the flower digimon gently stroke his forehead. She felt ... pity for the little purple digimon, he did not deserve to be called the way the girl called him. "Devil thing" eh? She had yet to see a real devil...

" zzzz ... zzz ... ehh?"
The impmon had spent all the time looking for the human girl until he too fell asleep. He really felt attached to her and to him, she was worth hell. It's funny how love works, he didn't know how it happened between lilamon and stingmon but in his case was pretty much love at first sight enhanced by his vague memories of a past in which he loved a human girl now dead since centuries ago, executed for helping his former life as wizardmon.
Returning to the present, he was startled to find that he was not sleeping on the flowerbed but instead he was curled on something soft that felt really nice and smelled like the paradise, it didn't took him more than a minute after shaking the half-awaken state of his to realize he was sleeping on the hands of the gentle and beautiful lilamon.
"Ah .. I ..."
Wow, lilamon looked even more gorgeous and beautiful being this close to her, she was really one of the most charming girl digimon of the digital world and the impmon couldn't help but have his face become slightly red as he blushed. He might've read a lot in his books and learn about many things, but those were only book smarts and some digimon mentioned in books had traits that couldn't be described with mere words. Besides, he was still a child digimon and being so close to such a beauty lady made him feel like he was doing something dirty, specially because she already had a boyfriend
"Umm ... can you drop me on the floor?"

- 'course not silly! You'd get hurt if I drop you! - the lilamon giggled and gently put the digimon back on the flowery floor. She saw his blushing, but that only made the small creature look more cute and huggable. There was no perverse pretext behind it, she was a perfect-level digimon, and he was a child digimon. And she just loved children. That was all.
- Poor poor hu-mon Manami... - she sighed out with genuine sorrow as she gently flown between the sleeping ones, her legs barely touching the ground. - The forest is too violent for her... Here digimon fight for survival every day... Every day someone is hurt... She is not used to see people hurt. Her home ... Ja - pan. Strange name... Maybe you know what it is? Where it is? You seem to know much about hu-mons... - she asked the impmon, while slowly making a circle around the sleeping ones. Maybe there was something she could do? She wanted to help, but she didn't know how...

Ohh ... he totally looked like a little kid back there, he should've worded better what he said. The impmon simply continued blushing while the lilamon softly put him him on the flowery floor. Those flowers had by now regained some of their previous shine and color and were really strong, they could let somebody sleep on them and the moment the sleeping one woke up and stand up, they would almost immediately regain their normal shape as if nothing was flattening them.
"I wish I could help, but all I read in the books was that once many, many years ago a human from the legendary Japan appeared in file island and teamed up with a digimon. And that's all ..."
Ugh, what was the use of having books when they hardly had anything that could be useful? Maybe there was more about that topic, but all the impmon remembered about the legends was that a human, maybe a samurai, appeared centuries ago a lot of time before he was born (at least in his current life) and that human teamed up with a digimon who looked a bit like him. Sadly, there were no drawings of that human and the digimon legends are already vague enough, it might or might not be real.
"Stingmon is a lucky digimon, you are so helpful and always care for him, but I can't do anything for Manabi and she doesn't like me ..."
That stingmon better should feel lucky for having lilamon as his girlfriend, she always was patching up his wounds and her charming personality would win the hearts of anyone who met her, she was like a goddess in this forest filled with digital monsters that wouldn't hesitate to have you as their next meal.

- You give me too much credit child. In truth, I am more lucky to have him than he is to have me. Otherwise... there's no telling where I could have ended up... We go back... Way back... - maybe for the first time Lilamon didn't sound or look as cheerful and happy-go lucky as ever. A crack in the facade, maybe, but both her voice and face expression were distant, and aloof, as she passed by the impmon again, arms crossed behind her, looking somewhere afar. A cold wind blow somehow managed to go through the dense forest, blowing away several flowers, and shivered to the bone. Indeed, they went back, way back, but Lilamon did not feel like sharing it with anybody else.
- As for Manabi... You just gave her a bad first impression. I can try fixing that, but in order to do so, when she wakes up, I need you asleep, seemingly, or gone for a while. I won't say I will make her like you, but maybe she will tolerate you, which is enough if you truly wish to help her... Being torn away from home ... I don't envy her. - the lilamon sounded nothing like before, she really sounded like an adult digimon, and not an overgrown flower child.
In fact, she planned to make this talk with the girl anyhow. The way she called Stingmon, and later Impmon was something she did not quite like. If she considered those two, who only tried helping out, "monsters and devilish creatures", whom she considered the flower digimon? Mutated plant thing? Uh... It was probably because of the initial shock of being attacked by ol' Grey, and ending up in a hostile environment, Lilamon understood that, but still ... it was something she did not quite like...

""The impmon had no idea what was she talking about. To him they looked like a lovey dovey couple that were deeply in love and it was weird to imagine them being part of something darker and edgier than the role of forest guardians. Nevermind, he respected her silence and simply let her continue talking about something else that actually mattered to him: how to get on the good side of Manabi. "Please, I really want her to see me like a friend. Let's do it"The impmon was ready to become part of what scheme the lilamon could be planning and was willing to fake being still sleeping. It could mean the first step in getting closer to the human girl and finally find why he felt so attracted to her. His very digicore begged for her friendship and confused feelings from a past life made even more of a mess the mind of the imp digimon

Ah good, the impmon agreed to cooperate. Lilamon really wanted to help out, both the girl, and the small imp digimon whose feelings about the hu-mon were ... confused, very confused. She was able to see it, as would anybody who did not lack eyes or ears. He wanted to be something more than just a friend, and the flower digimon would eagerly help him with that. Everybody deserved happiness she had with her stingmon, and the impmon really did not deserve maltreatment he had yesterday...
With that in mind, the purple creature placed himself against a small stone nearby, imitating sleep very well, even the wheezing. As for the girl, it was time for her to wake up, sleeping for too long can be harmful also. Adopting her usual cheerful persona again, the lilamon dispersed some more of her miasma to make the girl sneeze and wake up by herself. Should she do that, she would see the flower digimon right in front to of her face smiling as cheerfully as ever, with a cute greeting:
- Hi hi! Rise and shine! Morning, sleepyhead :3

"zzz ... zzz"
The plan was finally put to action and the impmon faked being asleep, it was actually harder than it seemed like because a realistic imitation of the gestures of a sleeping person were harder to achieve. Sure, he could simply lie there immobile, but with the breeze and sweet flower scent it was hard to be focused.
"Hmm .... eww ..!"
Manabi finally woke up from her slumber as the miasma made difficult to breath properly and abruptly sneezed. She looked around and realized that sadly, this really was no dream and she was still trapped in this strange world ... although at least she was in that safe place known as lilamon's garden and lilamon herself was in front of Manabi, smiling and greeting her.
"Good morning"
Well, there was no use in crying for the spilled milk, so she simply decided to accept the existence of the nice flower lady and only hers, because despite all her eccentric behavior, she was the only trustworthy "digimon" in this place to whom she could genuinely believe she was a good human-flower thing. In certain way the lilamon looked like the big sister she never had for being a single child and she imagined how nice it would've been to have an older sibling to help her in everything else.
"Your name was lilamon, right? Sorry for what happened yesterday, I ... I'm too confused, lost. I don't know where I'm and I miss my family and friends of the anime club, I really miss my own world"
She said with a tone of sadness and nostalgia. She really wanted to go back to her old life and was confused for what happened ... yesterday? or maybe early in the same day? she wasn't even sure if this world also had things like day and night or if time flowed in the same way. Whatever, the point was that she was too confused for the events that happened before she ended up in the garden of flowers and was really trying to understand what was going on or why she was in this place in first place.

- Sorry? For what? You didn't do anything bad to me yesterday 0_0 - the Lilamon sounded a bit confused when the girl asked her for forgiveness. That was strange, she was the only one who did not get insulted yesterday in any way. Though the flower digimon understood what was the reason of her confused, lost and away from her family, it was a horrible experience, she'd wager.
Lilamon slowly approached stingmon, who was still sleeping nearby, and put a few bandages, which were falling off, back at their place. then something occurred to her as she set her gaze upon one of his armored hands, and held it in her own. Upon pressing ... something on it, a blade came out pf his wrist, or what was left of it anyway. It was broken, probably when Stingmon made his escape from the greymon. Gently, sje extracted the broken blade, and pushed the "button" again. A new blade appeared to replace the broken one. Lilamon smiled and pressed it again, hiding it.
- Though ... what you said yesterday about stingmon being a monster, and impmon being a devilish creature... You didn't mean it, did you? - she asked cautiously. She figured it would be better off approaching from afar, though it was pretty obvious that the girl would figure out where she was coming from...

"I'm sorry for being mean with your boyfriend because that made you feel bad"
There's an old saying that tells about never judging a book for its cover, but Manabi didn't really bother about that and considered the stingmon and impmon "bad things" because they looked respectively like an horrible bug-human hybrid and a small devil, and those things always were evil creatures in the human culture. Meanwhile the lilamon looked like a beautiful non human creature that totally was nice and gentle because nobody so cute, beautiful, bright and cheerful could be one of the bad guys. In fact, if there were stories about digimon, most likely lilamon would be one of the heroines and the other two would be evil villains or minions of the villains.
Then the lilamon asked if Manabi really meant what she said about the stingmon and impmon .. the truth was that she actually meant that, but thinking better maybe she overreacted a little, after all it was her first time seeing creatures so abstract and bizarre.
"I really meant it, but maybe I was wrong. In my world there's nothing that looks like ... what all of you are, and some of you look like monsters from fairy tales, anime and movies of my world."
Yeah, she never saw dinosaurs in anything other than history books and some anime with displaced dinosaurs, and humanoid insects and devils appeared only in works of fiction. One thing was seeing them in the TV or in a manga, another thing was seeing them alive next to you and interacting with them. Like in that movie jurassic park, it was funny to see a dinosaur hunting those silly guys, but its not funny at all to actually be hunted down by one who even talked in French.

- I see... - Lilamon said thoughtfully, twirling the broken blade she replaced in her hands, as if it were a twig. Well, this reaction was pretty normal, of course, these ... hu-mons seemed to have a very nasty reaction to just about anything they see for the first time. It was not a good omen, not at all. If all humans were like this ... they could get in very deep trouble upon arrival. Lilamon was concerned about their safety as well. Though the girl apologized, she didn't really sound like she was sorry, that was for sure. Lilamon was not that easy to fool, after all.
- We are to be called digimon, not monsters, mutants, and whatnot. And besides, both impmon and stingmon, despite not looking cute and nice and sympathetic, risked their life and limb for a complete stranger, who repaid their efforts with such disdain... Especially the little guy. He's, what, 40 times smaller than the dinosaur that chased you? We talked a little while you were asleep, and he said he would try helping you find a way back, despite you called him a devilish thing. - she frowned, maybe for the first time as she passed by the girl again, the long piece of stingmon's blade still in her flowery gentle hands.
- Maybe I'm making a big issue about a few words... - this time the flower digimon abandoned the happy cheerful facade and sounded dead serious once more. - But you refrain from unthoughtful deeds ... or words. I tolerated what you said, stingmon did, impmon did. Some, however... - upon saying that, the blade in her hands, made from finest tempered steel, was broken in two as if it were a mere stick. - ... Some might not. That might get you in trouble...

" ... "
The lilamon was right, she was being too harsh with those who helped her and repaid their kindness with ill words. Maybe if she were some crazy insane girl who believed herself to be a magician or if she were a younger kid who could immediately accept and even welcome those "digimon", her situation would be different, but here she was, in a world completely different from her own and with creatures that looked like something out of a fairy tales book. Maybe this was the time to have a change of attitude and if she wanted to survive, she had learn to recognize that just like with humans, some of the digimon were good and some were bad.
"I ... I'm going to apologize with them once they wake up"
Yes, that's what she had to do. Nothing good would come from repelling everybody who was sympathetic and she owed them an apologize for helping her before asking for nothing in return.
She looked at the arm she rasped against the rocks and found that in her sleep, somebody put some sort of plant-based balm on the injuries, it was healing nicely and that flesh would would disappear in no time. She wondered who put that there and at first imagined this was the doings of the lilamon, but maybe and only maybe the imp digimon was her benefactor. She looked at him and he looked like just a good boy as he slept on a stone.
"Until they wake up ... what can we do?"
Now awake, she wanted to do something to distract herself or else she would get stressed again. Thinking more about her situation wasn't going to help at all and maybe if she did something like speaking or gathering herbs, she could stop thinking about the bad things that happened to her so far

A smile appeared on the Lilamon's face as she heard the girls words again. Finally, she realized her anger was completely uncalled for, and that there was no reason to judge all digimon by how they look like. Appearances can be deceiving, though they can be truthful also. The point was to figure out when they deceive and when they don't, and not jump to conclusions. But she will learn, and this lesson the plant digimon gave her was the first step, even if she had to make the girl feel guilty.
- They'll wake up soon. - Lilamon replied, returning to her cheerful demeanor once again. She kenw at least one of them was awake ad heard through the discussion of theirs, and the stingmon ... well, he was ought to wake up sooner or later. In the meanwhile... - But enough talk about sad thing for today ok? We can always play with my pretty flowers! - she said cheerfully, and lend her hands towards her little garden of flowers, all of which started blooming upon her will. They said gardens of a Lilamon were able to bewitch somebody, making they fall in love with the beautifulness of it. Of course, there was no evil will behind it, but the beauty of the place was truly unmatched...

"Okay"
And there it was again, lilamon's magic once more filled the garden with colors and sweet scents and the soft breeze made several petals dance on the sky as if guided by lilamon's power on the flowers.
Manabi once more fell for the magic of the flowers and at least while the magic lasted, she felt happy again, playing around the flowers along lilamon until she fell on the flowerbed, exhausted from the activity and thinking about how maybe this new world wasn't as bad as she thought. She will miss her family and everything, but if she were unable to return to her own world, at least she would try to start a new life from the beginning in this place where digimon lives.
As for the impmon, he listened everything that was said and was happy to know Manabi was willing to reconsider her opinion towards digimon. They were finally beginning to understand each other and someday that mutual understand would create a miracle.
